Hi Nic and Diana, just a quick note to say thank you so much for makiing our honeymoon very special!Only for the Pipe we would have had a full week of nice but boring food in our hotel but instead we were treated to a taste sensation in the top restaurant in Switzerland!! Well done to you both on running what is a fantastic venue!!You'll both be very welcome in Portlaoise if you ever decide to brave the rain!! Keep in touch, Ivor and Marie!!

All the best for the holiday season at The Pipe! I certainly miss the throat warming food, drink menu, hospitality and ambiance of The Pipe. Good luck with the new location. I'll certainly stop by. The Pipe Rocks!!!

Hi Guys
Hope you are doing ok,
sad to see that the only restaurant we go to in Zermatt is actually going to close (guess we have to look for another ski resort...).
So, to make sure that we can enjoy Nick's delicious food, could you already book one table for two for X-mas (24/12@7.30PM) as well as one for New Years Eve.
Can't wait to be there

Sorry to say, Yes the Pipe will close. forever, may 1st 2010. Book early so you dont miss out. Dinners, Parties; and fun races will be held all winter long.

Found a diary from 99, what an interesting read! The pipe my favorite spot back then and Nikk!.

Amazing food and great staff!
After spending several days in Zermatt where all the restaurants were pretty similar (read: fondue) this place was an excellent find! Great variety on the menu, amazing flavours and perfect service. Went back again the next night and will return on future visits!
